Thought I would touch on the tools I made from bone. I have dear friends who let me collect from their deer boneyards after deer season. It's like a hunt after the scavengers have spread them around. I gather them and wash them in bleach water and lay them out on my deck to dry and bleach. I sort them, gather them up and put into baskets

. I use a dremel to put points on some and a grinder to others to give the shapes I like to work with. A wood burning tool gives some interesting designs. I make little leather pouches to cover sharp ones for when I want to travel with them. I have also used deer bones for paintbrush handles. Oh, and I wax them to give a patina and to preserve.
