Additional texture and fine area tools

Wherever I'm at, whatever I'm doing, I'm always looking at shapes and textures, items to add and adapt for my pottery tools. These texture and fine area tools are made from the shells of snapping turtles. I clean the shells as much as possible ( sometimes leaving them to nature to harvest any remaining flesh or tendons) and then add then to a tub of bleach water to soak. I change the water and continue to remove any debris. I leave them to season on my deck through sun and rain. As they mature, the sections become easier to separate into my desired tools. It's all a win win! Turtle meat is delish and I get unique items for my sculpting.

So many thanks to Eric and Luann Martin for their contributions to my obsession!
